Seva Darshan Kuwait conducted "Gokulolsavam 2019"

Bala Darshan Kuwait, the children’s wing of Seva Darshan Kuwait successfully held its biennial competition, Gokulolsavam 2019, on 15th November 2019 at Kuwait Indian School, Abbasiya. The event was inaugurated by Sri. Sanjuraj, President , Seva Darshan along with Sri. Praveen (Gen. Secretary, Seva Darshan), Bala Darshan coordinators Sri. Narendran, Smt. Anita Jayakumar, and Smt. Divya Satheesh.

Over 1000 children from the various units of Bala Darshan Kuwait competed in different categories. The day long competitions in various languages including English, Malayalam, Tamil and Sanskrit were held for 23 different items in 13 different stages simultaneously. It displayed the knowledge children gained at the weekly classes which reminded of the youth festivals held in schools in India. The event is organized with an intention to keep the children in Indian expats society close to Indian literature and culture. The winners were honoured at a function held later at Kuwait Indian School.
