Procedure to renew your Driving licence online

Ministry of Interior announced the online renewal for Driving License starting from 18th November 2019. Those who are having Valid Driving Licence and is due for renewal can now do it online. Below are the brief detail of the procedure to follow to renew your license. You need to have a valid User ID and Password at Ministry of Interior website before proceeding with the process. With this user ID and Password, you can also check your traffic violation, residency status etc.
Procedures are very simple . They are as follow are:-
Step 1: Visit Ministry of Interior MOI website - https://www.moi.gov.kw/
Step 2: Next go to E- Services -Gen.Dept. of Traffic page
Step 3: Click Renew Driving License
Step 4- Login with your MOI login ID and password
If you dont have an account, you can create it easily by giving your Civil ID no and other information.
Once you are in the renewal page, fill out the application with all relevant information
•Check and pay your Traffic Violations, if any, before placing the request
You need to upload the followings:
-Upload CIVIL ID copy (.pdf file)
If your licence is expiring within next 30 days, you will get an option to renew it. Otherwise, you will get a message saying that no license to renew.
-Upload Signature in .jpeg or .jpg or Sign online
-Check the box and continue
-Pay the fees online using K-Net
-Complete the process until the request is approved.
If the request is approved, you can print the card from the machines at any time.
Procedure to collect your new Driving License
-Collect the Driving License at machines installed at the Avenues Mall for Shuwaikh Area, Al-Kout Mall in Fahaheel area, service centers at Ministry of Interior, and General Department for Traffic Violations in Capital and Hawally areas.
Procedure to Collect the Driving License at machines are -
Step -1 Select Language - English / Arabic
Step -2 Insert your Civil ID card in the machine
Step -3 Enter your MoI Username and Password and then press "Continue"
Step -4 Insert your old driving license
Step -5 Validate the new Driving License information then click on Print
Step -6 Take back your Civil ID
Step -7 Collect your new Driving License
