KD 130 health insurance for expats in 2020

A coordination between the Health Insurance Hospitals Company and Ministry of Health is being formed to offer the health insurance for expatriates beginning from 2020. The insurance premium will be KD 130 for each individual and will include expats who work in the private sector and their children, local Arabic news paper Al-Anba reported.

The insurance will cover examinations, xray and medicine, the source said, adding that the law does not indicate the party that will present health care for expatriates on visit visas after activating the Dhaman system.
