KIS Study Tour to Kuwait Police Museum

Kuwait Indian School organized an study tour for the students of class IV to Kuwait Police Museum. This museum is at Bneid Al Gar. It is a small museum but it tells about all the history of police.

The students could enjoy the various old Kuwaiti police patrol cars, ranges from the oldest vehicles to the latest models before entering inside the museum. A bomb disposal robot can be seen in front of the museum. The museum has five rooms,which have many items on display. The main room is in the middle of the building. The other rooms are divided according to the different historical periods. The items displayed are all related to the history of Kuwait’s police from its foundation to the present. Kuwait passports of different generations are displayed over there. Identification cards, driving licenses, old license plates etc are exhibited in the room.. Pictures of various ministries are also found.

The museum guide provided all the details regarding it to the students. It helps them to know more about Kuwait Police. The students were excited to see the display of police tools, guns , revolvers , swords and different uniforms worn by policemen in various periods from the 1930s. The trip gave them a chance to know and understand more about the history and the developments happened during the years. It was like a history book opened infront of them. They were curious and ready to explore their.
