910 citations issued during traffic campaign

Traffic campaigns organized by the traffic and operations sector of the General Traffic Department across the country on Sunday, resulted in the issuance of 910 citations in addition to impounding many vehicles from motorists for reckless driving.

According to a statement issued by the GTD, two persons were arrested and handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control (GDDC) and seven to the Sentences Enforcement Department and 12 others to the competent authority for various reasons.
