Agnesian Alumnae Kuwait (AAK) conducted Mind Power Seminar

A ‘Mind Power Seminar’ was organized by Agnesian Alumnae Kuwait (AAK) in association with Indians in Kuwait (IIK), at Gurukul, Salmiya, on the evening of Thursday, the 24th of October.



Agnesian Alumnae Kuwait (AAK), is an association formed by a group of ex- students of St’ Agnes College, Mangalore, India and mainly focuses on education of the under underprivileged girl students and are proud to say they have been successful in helping more than 250 girls.



The Seminar commenced with a welcome and introductory note by the President of AAK –Maria Coelho, who then introduced the multi-talented, certified, motivational speaker, mind trainer, life coach, author and master speaker- Mr. Crawford Wilson D’souza.



After captivating the attention of the participants which mainly consisted of school students with a memory test, Mr. D’souza went on to give a very insightful understanding of the ‘Mind’ and how the mind works. He spoke about multiple intelligence and the various styles of learning, on how to use our mind power to achieve our goals in life. Citing examples from his life, he showed the importance of visualizing of goals and the creation of a vision board and how goals can be manifested through visualization. He also taught the participants how to awaken their minds by travelling into the subconscious mind and awaken it through a relaxation technique and program it for success.





The children enjoyed the session thoroughly, especially when Mr. D’souza showed them that anything was achievable and he went on to demonstrate this through the “lifting” and magnetic attraction” exercises.





The programme was concluded by a vote of thanks by Annet Castelino, the General Secretary of AAK. The President then handed over a memento to Mr. D’souza, in appreciation and gratitude for the enriching and educative seminar that was delivered. Equipped with the necessary and informative tools, the participants- children and adults -alike went home feeling empowered and more confident with the knowledge of their Mind Power.
