Alumni of TKM Engineering College, Kollam, Kuwait celebrated Onam

TKMCEAA, the alumni group of TKM Engineering College, Kollam, held its Onam celebration “Varavelpu 19” at Carmel School, Khaitan last Friday. Celebrations were inaugurated by renowned film director, producer and screenwriter MA Nishad.

TKMCE Kuwait Chapter President Sasi Rajan, Vice President Kurien Itti Cherian, General Secretary Rathi Sharma, General Convener Kuwait Engineers Forum Abdul Sagir and Designated Convener Shyam Mohan were also present.

As part of Onam celebration, Onapookalam competition, Payasam making competition, Malyali mannan and Manka, and folk song competition were conducted. Harish Parambhil has been selected as the Malayali Mannan and Reshma Jayakumar has been selected as the Malayali Manka. TKM College and Thrissur Engineering College Alumni Association were joint champions. The Onam feast was also organized as part of the program.
