IMA Ladies Wing conducts Qur’an Hifz Competition for Zahrutul Jannah unit

Indian Muslim Association-Ladies wing’s girls unit Zahratul Jannah organized Qur’an Hifz competition to encourage the children in learning and memorizing the Qur’an with Tajweed and tarteel, in the month of September, 2019. The competition was open to all communities and nationalities.

IMA Ladies Wing Abbasiya / Khaitan and Fahaheel/Mangaf units jointly organized the event on 13 Sep 2019 where as Salmiya unit organized the competition on 19 Sep 2019.

Participants were asked to memorize at least 2 out of 3 Surah given- with Tajweed and Tarteel. The responses was very good and the girls were glad and enthusiastic, nearly 75 children of all age groups from Abbasiya and Khaitan zone, 48 from Salmiya and 25 participants from Mangaf and Fahaheel took part in the competition.

The event was well organized with the true team spirit. Prize distribution ceremony was conducted on same day at the end of the program.

Parents were also invited to attend the sessions which they did with great enthusiasm. Prizes were distributed to the winners of each age group and participant prize was also given to all the children who have taken part in the event.

Refreshment were served for parents and children at the end of the programme.

The programme was successful with positive responses from both parents and children.

Zahratul Jannah within IMA Ladies Wing was established for the girls group (Age :10 yrs and above) in the year 2017 to enhance and inculcate “Islamic education & knowledge” and also to improve their public speaking skills.
