Clay Modelling in Arabic at Bhavan’s SIS

Bhavan’s Smart Indian School organized an activity which enriched students to merge art with letters. This activity was conducted by the Arabic Department who initiated this process to facilitate children in better understanding of the letters and to help them keep abreast with the knowledge in Arabic language. The students of grade 2 ventured in this wonderful task of creation and learning to smoothen the path of acquisition.

The Arabic Department under the able guidance of Ms. Ameera, Head of the Department of Arabic motivated children to undertake the task in a fun-loving atmosphere. The children’s ability to bend and twist the clay to the amazing formation of Arabic letters was a beautiful sight to see. The ambience that filled the sizing of the clay to different colours and forms appealed the staff and children alike. Handiworks of this sort made children to move away from the mundane system of writing and learning letters from notebook. Creations are unique and it universally fascinates the study of any kind. Hence the art work proved to be an additional source in the joy of learning.
