Kuwait Odisha Association (KOA) Annual General Election 2019-20

Kuwait Odisha Association (KOA) annual general election for the year 2019-20 was concluded recently under the presiding election officer Mr. Pradip Nayak.

This is for the second consecutive year, wherein, many lady members came forward to serve the society voluntarily.

The first executive body meeting was held on 12th September 2019 in the presence of Advisors, outgoing executive members and newly elected members to share their vision for the upcoming year to prepare a proactive action plan not only to improve and add more cultural activities but also to enrich the children with cultures of Odisha more effectively.

Advisory Board members and outgoing executive members made important suggestions to improve working of the association. The stress was to be open to new ideas, maintain effective communication and improve networking.



Incoming President Mr. Girija Shaknar Padhy expressed great pleasure and happiness on the confidence and belief placed on the new team. He praised the previous team for their immense good work and accomplishments during their tenure. He stressed that we being one big family, everyone’s contribution towards the growth of the association is all that matters. The team will live up to expectations reposed by all members and help nurture KOA to achieve greater heights of social standing.

Outgoing President Mr. Ashok Chandra Lenka, thanked all members for their love, support and contribution during his tenure. He opined that we should all be serving the Society in any manner to best of his/her capability.

Concluding all members present congratulated the new team and wished them lord’s blessing and assured every one’s cooperation for achieving higher levels of success.
