"Keralites in Kuwait welcome the Festival of Onam today"

The Keralite Community living in Kuwait celebrates the festival of Onam today with fun and frolic. Wearing traditional dresses and playing traditional games, within the imitation of apartment life in Kuwait. Many Keralites shift the celebrations to the coming Friday. In this picture taken by Gafoor Moodadi, some families together celebrated Onam at their apartment in Abbasiya with traditional games.

Several restaurants in Kuwait today arranged special Onam Sadya - traditional Onam feast at a special rate for the people. Today being a working day, this will help many families to enjoy the traditional feast on Onam day.

Many Supermarkets in Kuwait announces special Onam Offer for flowers and vegetables. Many families and friends are planning to celebrate Onam this coming Friday ans the Onam day is a working day for many. Various Keralite Associations are started their Onam celebration from last Friday. The celebrations in Kuwait will continue in the coming Fridays.
