Air ambulances service suspended

The air ambulance service is suspended due to the expiration of the contract signed by the ministry and the operating company, local media Arab Times reported.

According to report, Director of the Medical Emergency Department in the Ministry of Health Mundhir Al-Jalahima said there is no alternative to the air medical emergency service in the country, but the public should rest assured that the concerned authority has provided ambulances with good geographical coverage.

Since the expiration of the air medical emergency service, about 90 ambulances have been distributed in various parts of the country, he added.
