‘A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instill a love of learning’ -Brad Henry. This is one of my most favorite quote as it explains the value of a teacher in just one sentence.

The future of the nation is in the hands of the children and indirectly in the hands of teachers. They play an important role in our lives to become successful in career and business. They help us to become a good human being in the society and good citizen of the country. Teachers provide data and information in the brain of students to analyse. Therefore, we can say that analysing and facing the situation, to find out the solution in the difficult situation, we basically learn from our teachers only.

In India, Teacher’s day is celebrated every year on 5th September as a mark of accolade to the part played by the teachers in the society. 5th September is the birth anniversary of a great mentor Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a grand advocate of edification, and was the distinguished envoy, academician, and India’s President, above all a great Teacher.

There were many times when I felt that teachers were great burdens in my life. Whenever I get low marks, I always blame my teachers that they used to cut my marks on purpose never thinking that it was due to my inefficiency in studies, but now when I think about it seems that all my thoughts were wrong. my mom always says to me to consider my teachers as my gurus and not me as their guru as sometimes I think I can teach them how to make classes more entertaining. But whenever I tell my mom about how boring classes turn out to me, she tells me that one day I will encourage these enduring lessons, and I do believe they might.

A.P.J Abdul Kalam said, and I quote, “A teacher has to create a lifelong autonomous learner.” And with this quote I end my article wishing all the great teachers a

“HAPPY TEACHERS DAY !!!”
