The modern age is an age of science. Science is the greatest boon to the modern world. Modern discoveries and inventions have increased human comforts and happiness. Things which were considered to be impossible in the past are now actually happening before us. Science has revolution our life. The clothes we wear, the food we eat, the pictures we see are boons of science. Science has conquered time and distance; it is because of science that man has done a lot of fabulous and amazing things. In the sphere of transportation and communication, science has rendered a great service to mankind. The days of motor cars and railway trains as new means have passed away way before. Now we live in the age of aeroplanes. They are the quickest means of transport.
Internet is the invention of modern and high technology science. It provides us amazing facility of searching any information from any corner of the world. Using internet we can send any big or small message, information very quickly within seconds to anyone’s computer, mobile or other digital device like tablets, PC, etc. It is a vast storage of information as it has more than billions of running websites related to the domestic, business, academic, governmental, etc.
Now let’s talk about electricity, another wonderful gift of science. It is very useful in our daily lives. It has brought a revolution in our daily life. It is the most useful of all inventions of science. Electricity has made our domestic life sweet and comfortable. As a means of transport, electricity has provided us- electric cars, trams and trains which move with great speed. It has removed darkness from the world. Science has given us wonderful medicines. They give immediate relief to us. Now serious operations are possible. X’ rays, MRI, and scanning help us to know the interior parts of the body. Science has done wonderful in the medical sphere. It has greatly increased our comforts and happiness. Medical science has relieved human pain. Many new medicines have been invented. Many fatal diseases, which were considered incurable, now can be easily cured.
In the field of entertainment Science has given us wonderful means of recreation. Cinema, radio, television, photography, digital gaming etc….
Science has also given gifts to agriculture and farming industry. It has made various equipments such as tractors, automatic in row weeder, automatic cow milking machine etc. We can plough our land, sow best quality seeds and reap harvest with their help. Chemical fertilizers help the farmers to grow rich crops. Science has destroyed plant diseases.
Machines produce nearly all necessary things of our life. They help industries. They help to meet the needs of growing population. They give work to thousands of people.

Like every powerful thing, science has the dark side and the bright side. If we use it in a destructive way, it can turn the world into ashes. The nuclear or atomic war will end our whole world. Thus, we should use science in a creative way to develop our society as well as the whole world. We never know what all developments can be made in our lives in the upcoming generations.
