Arch Bishop of Greek Orthodox Church Kuwait maiden visit to India

The Arch Bishop of Greek Orthodox Church, for Kuwait, Baghdad and dependencies, His Eminence Al Moutran Ghattas Hazim and Rev. Fr. Nagi Al Toumi, Vicar of Kuwait on their maiden visit to India as the distinguished guests of St Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Kuwait were received by His Eminence Mor Eusebius Kuriakose, Metropolitan of Delhi Diocese and Patriarchal Vicar of Kuwait of Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, at the Delhi International Airport on 5th July 2019.

The duo visited monumental places and churches while spending three days in the country's capital before proceeding to Kerala on 8th July 2019, where they met with Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I, the head of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Churches in India, the Catholicos, Maphriano of the East and Chief Metropolitan of Angamaly Dioceses and other church Metropolitans.

Catholicos of India thanked visiting Greek Orthodox church leaders for all the support extended to Syrian Jacobite Orthodox community in Kuwait. They had also sought support and guidance for mutual cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations.
The visit was organized and lead by H.E Eusebiose Kuriakose.

His Eminence Al Moutran Ghattas Hazim and Rev. Fr. Nagi Al Toumi were returned to Kuwait on 13th July 2019.
