TECAL Kuwait Chapter Elects new Office Bearers

In a solemn AGM function of TECAL (Trissur Engineering College Alumni Association) Kuwait chapter held on 16 May at Hotel Safir, Fintas. New office bearers elected unanimously for the term 2019-2020. TECAL Kuwait Chairman Krishnakumar R welcomed the members and presided over the AGM. General secretary Mr. George Joseph presented last year activity report and proposed the vote of thanks.. AGM approve the Finance report presented by Treasurer Mr. Paul Mathew. Afsal Ali handles the event with his skills as MC.
A team of 17 members were elected as the new Executive Committee for the year 2019 – 2020. In the election process led by Mr. George Joseph, Mr. Shaju Meleveettil was elected as new Chairman for Kuwait Chapter, Abdul Jabbar M.M as General Secretary, Dhanesh A as joint secretary , Bimal Unnikrishnan as treasurer , Jinesh Kumar as Arts Secretary , Nikhil as Joint arts secretary, Mohammed Shajeer as Sports Secretary, Nimesh as Joint Sports Secretary, Shruthi Dhanesh & Joffy Joseph as ladies representatives.

The events of the day-long program included music, dance, instrument music and chorus. The program began with Prayer song by Safalya .This was followed by mind blowing dance by Karthika Sunil & Keerthana Sunil. Thereafter, key board play demonstrated by little Johan Smijo literally shocked the audience. The senior members distributed prizes for students who performed well in the last year X &XII board exams.
Musical Extravaganza TEC Medley compiled by Mr.Joshy Sebastian and participated by Keerthana,, Safalya ,Saarang, Reshma Sudheer, Reshma Jayakumar, Bhavana Rema Jayakumar, Nikhil, Krishnakumar Rajagopal, Santhosh Joseph, Jayakumar and Nelson was mind blowing .
