Acts of worship strengthens social relations: Youth Ifthar

The acts of worship in Islam have the power to strengthen social relations, says C T Suhaib, State Secretary, Solidarity Youth Movement. Speaking at the zonal ifthars conducted by Youth India Kuwait, he pointed out that such virtuous associations in Ramadan are examples for this. He also that at all times in Ramadan, we must show that Allah's interests and likes are more important than our interests and wishes. We have to transform our fasts into righteous deeds that will be recorded in the account book of virtues on the day when only good deeds will be accepted. He also indicated that spending time with groups that spend their youth in the right path will take us closer to the path of virtue before we even know it.

The Youth Ifthar conducted collectively by Farwaniya, Abbasiya and Salmiya zones of Youth India was held at Khaitan Asad Abdul Azeez Masjid while Fahaheel zone conducted their Youth Ifthar at Fahaheel Unity Center.

The program was inaugurated by Sakkeer Husain Thuvvoor, Youth India patron and KIG President. Youth India President Mahnas Musthafa presided over the function.

Solidarity State Secretary C T Suhaib accepted the submission of Youth India Karunyam Project from Social Relief Convener Hafees Muhammad. Prizes for the winners of Youth India Qur'an exam were also distributed.

Irshadiya College lecturer Thajudeen Madeeni and KIG East Zone President Rafeeq Babu concluded the program with prayers at Khaitan and Fahaheel respectively. KIG Vice-president Faisal Manjeri, General Secretary Firoz Hameed, West Zone President P T Shareef, East Zone Vice-president Najeeb M K, Area Presidents N C Basheer and Niyas Islahi, Youth India General Secretary Safeer Abu, Vice-president Muhammad Haroon, Treasurer Nihad, and Zonal Presidents Faheem, Nayeem, Jahan and Fawaz took part in the program. Abdurraheem and Muhammed Salim did the qiraath and program conveners Sijil and Usama gave the welcome address.
