Rangmanch 2019 – A dazzling presentation of Indian folk dances by Aartshaala was a visual treat to the audience as it displayed the vibrant and colourful folk dances of India. The event was held on 27th April At Salmiya Indian Model School. The students of Aartshaala along with the brilliant narrators took the audience through a dance odyssey across India. The dancers skilfully displayed their versatility by performing different folk styles of India – Ghoomar and Katputli from Rajasthan, Korla from Haryana, Lavani from Maharashtra, Rouf from Kashmir, Bengali folk dance, Karagattam and Pinnal Kolatam from Tamil Nadu and Giddha from Punjab.

Aartshaala would like to extend their heartful thanks to the Chief Guest for the evening – Mr Ashfaque Khan – President of Indian Cultural Society, Ms Muriel Alphonso – President of Indian Women’s Association Kuwait and Guest of Honour – Dr Anis Ahmed, Director of Salmiya Indian Model School.
