Tender called for permanent used car market project

Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCoI) floated a tender for the permanent used car market project with partnerships of both public and private sectors. The implementation period for the project will be two years

Current situation of the used cars market (haraj) in Amghara area is unregulated and uncontrolled, in addition to security problems such as traffic and others.

Assistant Undersecretary for Financial and Administrative Affairs Yousef Al-Husseini said that the ministry has a desire to allocate a temporary site of 400,000 square meters, which is close to the populated areas to facilitate access and be a substitute for the current Amghara site.
