Bhavanites Bask in the Glory of CBSE Grade 10 Results

The momentous feat by the Class 10 students of Indian Educational School (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan), Kuwait proudly paraded its success and glory as a premier education in the sands of Kuwait. Bhavanites bagged success in the CBSE board examination in the most impressive fashion.

An atmosphere of excitement and exuberance that naturally follows remarkable success was seen at the Indian Educational School. IES reaped the golden harvest of 100% in the board examination when all the students who had appeared for the Class X CBSE examinations in March 2019 majestically cleared the first hurdle of their academic odyssey with astounding success.

IES was praised for its stupendous success in the CBSE grade 10 examinations. The reception lounge was abuzz with the parents and the students who came to meet and thank the teachers who helped the students write the saga of success. Telephones in the school also rang incessantly heralding the influx of incoming calls that lavished praises on MR. N.K Ramachandran Menon, the Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, Mr. T. Premkumar, the principal, IES and his team of teachers who are second to none in Kuwait.

Results at a Glance

A total of 153 candidates appeared for the CBSE grade 10 board examinations. More than 43% of the candidates scored a splendid 90% aggregate and made it to the go-getter's club with many A1 grades to their credit. 82% of the total candidates scored 80% and above in the CBSE grade 10 examinations much to the approbation of the stakeholders of the institution.

The subject average in the CBSE examinations is as follows:

English (90), Math (84), Science (85), Social Science (90.3), French (88), Hindi (80), and Sanskrit. (89)

The School Toppers

Malavika Krishna won the ‘crème of the crème’ -the school topper’ title by scoring 97.2% aggregate marks in the board examination. Liana Maria Joseph and Karthik Sudheer also stole the show with an astounding 97% and 96.6% aggregate in the CBSE grade 10 examinations held in March 2019.

The Subject Toppers



Tanmay Sahu, Abhishek Jayant Patil and Rejoice Paul scored a perfect centum in Math to be the CBSE toppers of this year. Samuel Kurien and Varun Menon scored an amazing 100% in French to reach the ‘sommet du succès’ in the AISSCE French examination. Khushi Nagaraj topped Sanskrit by scoring an amazing 99% in the subject. Sana Nazim Parkar topped in Hindi and Social Studies with an imposingly impressive score of 97 and 99 respectively.

Liana Maria Joseph, Shahid Sheikh and Fiza Shafeeque evinced their superb scientific temper with an impressive score of 98 in Science.

Chrissa Merin Oommen, Liana Maria Joseph, Varun Menon, Arundhati V Sharma, Mihir Mathew Vinod, Umm E Hani, Priyanka Anna Ambi, Shweta Saji, and Tiasha Majumdar topped the global language by scoring an impressive 97% in the CBSE board examinations.

“The impressive results are the outcome of the diligence, commitment, and abiding efforts of the students along with the untiring efforts of their teachers and constant support of their families.”, said Mr. T. Premkumar, the principal in a euphoric tone when asked about the secret behind the saga of success at IES.
