Bhavans’ Legacy of Triumph Continues in the CBSE Grade 12 Examination

On 3 May, 2019, Indian Educational School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kuwait rewrote history by redefining success, when the 9th batch of twelfth graders swept the creamy layer of accomplishments as they stood atop the podium of the CBSE Grade12 Board Examination 2019 with hundred percent pass with all hues flying around. The exam results once again validated the undisputed acquired prerogatives of IES Kuwait as the ‘numero uno’ destination for ‘excelsior-knowledge-seekers’ in Kuwait and the exultation this victory has ushered in knows no bounds.

IES is proud of the exemplary accomplishment of its 9th batch of class 12 boys and girls who appeared for the AISSC examination in March 2019. 44% of the Science Stream students graduated with an aggregate of 90% and above. IES has every reason to celebrate as Bhavanites of the Science Stream scored more than 80% aggregate in all the subjects this time. The school average for the subjects are: English (87), Math (81), Physics (86), Chemistry (87), Computer Science (93), Biology (86), Economics (80), Business Studies (81), Informatics Practices (89).

It is heartening to mention that 74.5 % of the students passed securing A grade in Chemistry while in Computer Science 73.1% secured A grade. In English 69%, in Physics 68% in Informatics Practices 61.1%, Math 50.1% and in Business Studies 50% secured A grades.

Sudarshan Sundarajan with a perfect 100 in Chemistry is the first in the Science Stream with an aggregate of 97%, Rahul Mathew George who hit 100 in Mathematics stands second with 96.8% and Mitsumi Nandi and Elizabeth Jiji made it to the third position with 96.4% aggregate. In the Commerce Stream Alana Ann Prakash has 95% aggregate to her credit and is in the first position, Srinidhi Thumurikota with 94.8% is second and Keziah Biju George with 89.6% is third.

Bhavans regales in the glory of centum in Math and Chemistry which the prodigies of Bhavans have brought home relying only on their teachers at Bhavans. This adds more charm to the euphoria at Bhavans.

Mr. N. K Ramachandran Menon, Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, and Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran, Vice Chairman, Bhavans Middle East, appreciated the incredible achievement of the students that has placed IES in the shimmering light of victory, and acknowledged the efforts of the staff of IES.
