Idea and Thoughts on Ramadan

Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year in Islamic culture and Muslims usually observe the month of Ramadan to mark that prophet Mohammed received the first chapters of the QURAN from ALLHA .

Ramadan fasting is done to purify the soul and the body. This is the time when Muslims feel a sense of being close to ALLHA and refrain from materialistic pleasures. This fasting is a piers practice in the Islamic cultures that fosters a sense of spirituality in a Muslims

Fasting in Ramadan develops in a person the real spirit of social belonging of unity and brotherhood and equality before ALLHA.

Some of the main reasons to fast are:
*They develop character. Reflect on themselves.
*Develop compassion within themselves. Develop adaptability.
*cultivates Spirit. Elevates the Spirit. Develop a Healthy lifestyle.

*Connection to the QURAN. It is time to celebrate.
The “ZAKAT’’ is a way of helping the have nots by providing them with money and food.

In a nutshell, even though the real purpose of the dynamic institution of fasting is to discipline our soul and moral behavior and to develop sympathy for the less fortunate it is a multi-functional and comprehensive tool of change in various spheres of our lives.

May this auspicious month bring peace and happiness in everyone’s life.
