EARTH DAY – “Hug a tree and let it grow free”

Sunday, April 28, 2019

Kids International PreSchool celebrated International Day of mother Earth on 25th April 2019 (Thursday) with a belief that we can make every day Earth Day and every person in every school can make a difference. Earth day is a great time to plan fun, educational and action oriented activities which showcase classroom environmental education highlighting the importance of “ Go Green” which the Pre School achieved by engaging the students in activities like plantation drive and making beautiful trees with color paper. The tiny tots collectively participated in doing the beautiful craft work based on “Hug a tree and let it grow free”.

Our tiny buddies dressed in green color attire to mark this day and to emphasize upon the need to save trees. The hard work of teachers was commendable who made huge efforts to make children aware about the importance of Earth Day and how to save our Mother Earth. Under the guidance and supervision of Principal Mrs.Nilofar Qazi and Vice Principal Mrs.Gayathri Bhaskaran the “Go Green “ drive was a huge success. Kudos to parents also who went all out in teaching the children at home about the “Plantation Drive” and without whose participation this event would not have been successful.

Ultimately we have to remember that the natural resources what we have today is not an inheritance from our forefathers but rather a loan from our future generations which we have to repay them with interest.
