Relationships between countries are usually symbiotic in which both benefit from being connected to each other. The relationship between India and Kuwait is the perfect definition of such an inter - country relationship. The Kuwait economy before the discovery of oil was a center of trade and was dependent on the maritime activities. The most important activities were fishing , pearl diving and ship building. The ships used to arrive from India and the currency used in kuwait was the Indian Rupee.

Today, we humans cannot survive without mutual or social relations between each other. Nations trade to exchange resources and to use these resources to their fullest extent. One such important trade relation exist between the State of Kuwait and The Republic of India. The fuel from Kuwait is a non- renewable resource and it helps to run cars, factories and industries in India and other foreign countries. The fuel extracted from oil wells is transported all over the world. The bustling streets of Mumbai, the lush green fields in the south- east ready to be harvested, the speeding trains and aircrafts all are dependent on this scarce resource, Petroleum. India and Kuwait have signed several agreements in the fields of science, technology, culture and education, the main reason is to tighten this beautiful bond of Kuwait and India . This was the step taken by Kuwait government to make Kuwait a better place for Indians as well as other immigrants.

The relation between India and Kuwait is not limited only to trade, there is an exchange of culture, ideas, feelings and above all, there is a feeling of patriotism showed by citizens of both nations, which is incredible and this age- old relation which was maintained for such a long time and we Indians and Kuwaitis always wish to continue this wonderful bond of both nations forever.
