Kozhikode District Association Mahilavedhi Conducted Medical Awareness class

Kozhikode District Association Mahilavedi conducted interactive Medical Awareness class on Friday, 26th October 2018 at Kerala Association Hall, Abbasiya. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Hameed Keloth, Patron of our Association. Mahilavedi President Mrs. Smitha Raveendran presided over the inaugural function. Association President Mr. Shyjith.K spoke on the occasion. Memento was presented to Dr. Biji Basheer by Association Patron Mr. Bharathan.E.C. Association General Secretary Mr. Abjul Najeeb T. K and Treasurer Mr. Vineesh.P.V were present on the occasion. Mahilavedi Secretary Mrs. Indira Radhakrishnan welcomed the gathering and Joint Secretary Mrs.Shyni Sreenivasan thanked all who helped to make the Medical Awareness class a big success on behalf of Mahilavedi.

Dr. Biji Basheer, The Medical Director of Metro Medical care, presented the topic of “Life Style Diseases” with a presentation about the dangers of getting serious life style diseases due to unhealthy eating habits, lack of proper exercise etc. He stressed the need for maintaining a very healthy lifestyle for a better and longer life. His presentation was highly informative about all types of Life style diseases, its causes, its effects on the body, prevention's and cares to be taken.
