Searching for a job can be intimidating. That first job is always a challenge and it is the Most Important step in our career! Especially when you are just out of your studies and looking for that first step in your career ladder.

Gurukul is presenting Job Hunting Skills Workshop by Dr. Subhash Chander on Friday 9th November and Saturday 10th November 2018. The workshop is conducted in 2 batches Morning - 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and Evening - 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. It will be conducted at Gurukul Auditorium, Salmiya.

How do you know what job you're best suited for? How do you build a winning resume and cover letter? Where can you find job leads? How do you network without feeling nervous? How to reach the right people? What happens when you land an interview? And most importantly, where do you find help when you need it?

The Job Hunting Skills workshop will give you the answers to all these questions, plus a plan to get you a job within a month. There will be role plays, exercises and interactive sessions which will enhance the skills of the participants. After completing this program, you'll be more than ready to start your search for your perfect job. Identifying the purpose for working and the assessment of skills can help determine the types of jobs you should apply for.

The workshop is conducted by Dr. M K Subhash Chander, who is a multi-faceted personality – a HR, OD, Talent Development Professional, Motivational Speaker, International Trainer and Coach with over 35 years experience in multinational and local companies in various verticals. He has conceptualized, developed and conducted various training programs on varying topics to corporates, as well as public and students to enhance their skills to succeed in life and improve quality of life. He has been part of the interview panels in his profession and as an Adviser / Consultant where he has been involved in recruiting 1000s of employees. He is also a singer and a voice over professional who was selected from the whole of India to perform the voice over for Mahatma Gandhi for 2 documentaries.
