Who doesn’t like a luxurious dine out once in a while with families and friends? What if it is coupled with a soothing Bollywood classics by legendary singers! Blend of elegant interior, excellent food and melodious music! That is not enough to describe the feeling of the true sense of Indian luxury at Asha’s Restaurant in Kuwait.
Very few know that the multi award winning singer and the Golden Voice of Bollywood Asha Bhosle is also a Restaurateur, who owns and manages her own Restaurant named Asha's in the Middle East. And yes, they have got five branches in Kuwait.

Their latest addition is at the Boulevard Park in Salmiya. It’s a great dining destination. A lake side restaurant, thanks to the cool lake and fountains at Boulevard Park. The view from both inside seating and outside seating at Asha’s are just amazing.

The Restaurant welcomed us to its magnificent, modern and elegant interior. The Decor and ambience was excellent. It is a 280 degree restaurant with an amazing view from all tables. The dining area faces the fountain at the Boulevard Park. There were winged shaped sofas on one side and table and chairs on the other side. They also have outdoor dining which is great during pleasant weather. The Sofas was very cozy and comfortable.

The menu at Asha's is a collection of signature dishes that focus on culinary home-style favorites of legendary singer Asha Bhosle. Their à la carte menu offers a wealth of temptations. We were informed that they have Limited Time Offer (LTO) Menu, which they launch every quarter with new and unique dishes, which food lovers can enjoy. The favorites of food lovers from the LTO menu will find its place in the permanent menu! So you can guarantee that all on their menu are a must try for the food lovers.

The uniqueness starts with the ‘papad’! Their way of serving papad with a unique Papaya chutney is an amazing start! They also served the usual Coriander chutney and Pickle. For starters we had Jhinga Naar, Aloo Chatpate - Diced crispy potato tossed with tamarind chutney, fennel and ginger, garnished with pomegranate and spinach. This was a unique item for us. The diced potatoes with pomegranate was a really different and a must try! Emperor’s Platter is another starter for non-vegetarians, which is a combination of the emperor's favorite Kebabs - Murg Malai Kebab, Barrah Kebab, Tandoori Machli and Kerala Chilli Garlic Prawns. Its served with Cheese Garlic Naan. The starters were very good, delicious and different. Quite exotic!

Asha’s selection of cocktails are simply amazing! They had a variety of refreshing cocktails - Strawberry Passion Mash - Strawberries and Passion fruit muddled with lemon, topped with lemonade and scented with rose water, Truly Berry - Strawberries, blackberries and raspberries muddled with mint leaves, lengthened with lemonade, Rose Jam Ice tea - Rose jam shaken with freshly brewed tea and lemon juice, scented with rose water and Delhi Devil - Pomegranate and mint muddled with lemon juice and ginger syrup, lengthened with lemonade. All were refreshing and had unique tastes. These are just a few we tried and each one is better than the other.

After finishing the delectable starters for Main course we had Dal Makhni, Prawn Biryani - Prawns cooked with biryani rice, flavored with mace, cardamom and saffron, Nei chor (Traditional Ghee Rice) - Basmati rice cooked to perfection along with Wayanad's whole spices, pandan leaves and a hint of vanilla, Chicken Tikka Masala - Chicken tikka cooked with gram masala in a spicy onion and tomato gravy and Prawn Masala - Prawns cooked with red chillies in a spicy onion and tomato gravy.

Asha’s got a very good selection for vegetarians. Variety of unique vegetarian items you can find in their menu with exciting taste.

Gulab Jamun, Pista Kulfi and Chocolate Mouse was a great conclusion to my connoisseur delight. Chocolate Mouse is a must try if you are a chocolate lover.

It was truly a luxurious dining experience at Asha’s. The meal was fantastic, the drinks were delicious and the desert was delightful. Full marks to the ambiance with a unique touch by legendary Bollywood singer. The staff were very courteous and helpful. It is fully worth for the money you spend. After all, who minds a few extra bucks once in a while for a truly royal luxurious dine out experience. My culinary journey at this incredible restaurant was probably the best dining experience I have ever had.
