“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more- you are a leader”

10th of May 2018 was a momentous day for IIS as the school commemorated the Investiture Ceremony for the session 2018-19. The young leaders of IIS were bequeathed with the responsibility of leading our school from the front with their enthusiasm, commitment and confidence. The occasion was graced by the eminent scientist Dr. S. Neelamani (Senior Research Scientist, Coastal Management Program, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research) as the Chief Guest of the day. The day began by seeking the blessings of Almighty. The verses of the Holy Quran and its translation were recited followed by Salutation and the Kuwait National Anthem. The auspicious lamp was then lit by the Honourable Chief Guest Dr. S. Neelamani and respected Principal Mr. Arul Dharmaraj Thomas. It was a sight of honour and pride when the school leaders marched in to the beat of the drum showcasing incredible discipline and commitment. The members of the cabinet and the class prefects were officially handed over the responsibility with the badging and the oath taking ceremony. Motivational song and dance performances enhanced the enthusiasm of the students. It was a privilege for all of us in IIS to listen to the inspirational speech by Dr. S. Neelamani. The event was concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs. Lakshmi Devi, HOD, PE Department and a photography session with the Chief Guest.
