MACEAA-Kuwait conducted Annual General Body Meeting & elected New Office Bearers for 2010 -11

Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kuwait Chapter (MACEAA) conducted the Annual General Body meeting and Annual Day Celebration on 30th April 2010 (Friday) at hotel Crown Plaza,Farwaniya.
Chairman Mr.Abby Chandy,in his presidential address highlighted the achievements of MACEAA for the year 2009.General Secretary Mr.P.N. Jyothidas presented the details of the annual Report and Treasurer Mr.Georgi.K.Mathai presented the financial Report. Ladies Forum Secretary Dr.Razeena Shaji Hassan briefed on annual report & Haroon Zeeshan Shaji presented the report of Children’s Forum. On behalf of Ladies forum, Academic proficiency Awards for year 2009-10 for the top scorers of classes X & XII were given to Sneha Elizabeth Varghese & Akshay Finney & Nikhil Vinay Paliath.
The new Executive Committee Office bearers for the year 2010-11 were elected. Mr.P.C.George as the Chairman, Mr.Shaji Hassan as the General Secretary, Mr.Joseph George as the Treasurer, Mrs.Fazila Jabbar & Mr.P.B.Sajeevkumar as Arts Secretaries & Mr.Sajeev.C.Gopalan & Mr.Aju Issac as Sports Secretaries. Mr.Jacob George Thomas was elected as General Convenor Designate & Mr.Abdul Sageer as Arts Convenor for Kuwait Engineers Forum.
Mr.M.G.Sunil conveyed the vote of thanks. Cultural programmes by the MACEAA members added much color to the evening & made the day memorable.
