The Indian Art Company (iARTCO) elegantly launched its movie club in Kuwait

The Indian Art Company (iARTCO) launched its movie club leaving behind a day memorable for the entire movie lovers in Kuwait. The movie club marked its beginning by organizing a film workshop, which was inaugurated by M.V.John, the CEO of iARTCO in the presence of eminences from Kuwait and India on Friday 16th March, 2018 at Janadariya Hall opposite to Ardiya Public Authority for Applied Education Campus.









The daylong workshop led by the most celebrated Film Director Shyamaprasad included other informative sessions by Cinematographer Alagappan, Director Shibu Gangadharan, and Director & Editing Faculty Sibi Jose Chalissery. The workshop was exceptionally accepted by the movie enthusiasts in Kuwait with a 100 participants who benefited from the sessions handled by the above said experienced talents of Indian cinema. The shared experiences by the facilitators on screenplay, cinematography, direction, lighting, editing and various other aspects of film-making instilled a new perspective in the participants. It is for the first time such a workshop is being conducted in Kuwait.



As part of the movie club launch, a gazal night, 'Shahbaz Paadunu' was organized on the same evening. Shahbaz Aman, the State Award winning playback singer and composer from Kerala who is best known for his Gazals, sung love and grief into words, that made thousands of admiring audience dance their hearts out with happiness. He was accompanied by the famous versatile artists Rajesh Cherthala on Flute, Anand on Tabla, K.J. Paulson on Sitar and Yackson Gari Perera on Keyboard.

"This is just the beginning;iARTCO movie club will be coming up with more such programs and will always be with the film loving community" says Munir Ahmed, Director of iARTCO movie club.
