Bhavans’ SIS glistens Kuwait Liberation cum National Day

The pompous celebration of Hala Feb. took place in Smart Indian School auditorium on 21st February 2018, garnering the best of both worlds in remembering the painstaking endeavors of martyrs in freeing the majestic nation, Kuwait and to pay the princely homage to the second homeland of all the expatriates.

The unique day was graced by the School Sponsor – Mr. Ali Judiyan Al Rasheedi, Respected Chairman – N.K. Ramchandran Menon, Principal – Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Administrative Manager – Ms. Shaimaa Zaki and KG Supervisor – Ms. Rajini Menon. The whole community of teaching and non-teaching staff were also the active members of the day.

The day embarked on the glossy and glamorous ambience with the students camouflaged in a series of myriad outfits that were well-placed under their own patronage and love for the nation in the form of several cultural program. The significance of the day was read out in Arabic to bring out the pristine sense and flavor on stage. A video on the hardships that Kuwait as a nation encountered under their opponent’s regime and its incomparable freedom and fortune aftermath was displayed to ingest the nation’s history and to be grateful for the reason behind their sustenance in this land. The stunning students of various grades mesmerized the audience with their power pact performance paving the way to bring the culture and the purpose of celebration. The children cladded in different hues representing the foursome colors of Kuwait National Flag that set the stage on fire with their intensifying programs. The ebullient cheering on the part of audience for the breathtaking and contagious joy and participation of teachers’ for the dance, singing and fashion show competitions left the confines to be speechless on the way to live young, no matter whatever age it might be. The fashion show for students that styled their fashion sense coupled with the gratification to put on the day’s effervescent outfits augmented the spirit of celebration to another level.

The much anticipated moment steamed ahead at the exhilarating screams while issuing free flight tickets to travel to their preferred destinations by the benevolent School Sponsor to five of the lucky teachers through lucky lot, on account of his birthday. The joy knew no bounds for all the five teachers and they immensely thanked for his hugeness of generosity. The shouts and wonders left the audience to pack the bags of happiness, festivity and cheer. The brain behind this whole bundles of joy was Administrative Manager - Ms. Shaima Zaki for organizing and supporting the staff continually in all ways. The grand day had its complete halt by paying homage to the motherland, India by singing its National Anthem. A massive thanks is stretched out to the Principal for his unrelenting support and to the philanthropist Sponsor and the Chairman.
