Kuwait Tamil Sangam (KTS) organized “Kodaiyil Oru Isai Charral” musical event

Kuwait Tamil Sangam (KTS) organized its summer event “Kodaiyil Oru Isai Charral” musical show at Abbasiya Community Hall on 19th May 2017. It was an evening filled with songs and dances presented by best Singers and artists who were flown all the way from Tamilnadu.

Programme was started off with lighting up of Kuthuvilakku by KTS ladies followed by Thamizh Thai Vazhthu, Kuwait and Indian National anthem. Following the welcome address by KTS President Dr. Pukalendran, the event started with the awareness speech on the importance of water management given by KTS member Mr. Saravanan. KTS General Secretary Mr. Radhakrishnan introduced the guests to the audience.

The stage was set for a full on music and the song for the evening was performed by guest Mr. Nivas - Play back singer, Ms. Srinisha - Play back singer, Mr. A.P. Balaji - Aradhana band leader/Singer, Mr. Durairajan – Singer/Music Director, Mrs. Sujatha – Singer/Dubbing Artist and Mr. Michael Augustine – Mimicry Artist / Anchor. They presented the crowd with four hours of melody from the artist who mesmerized the audience. Special variety Punjabi Dance was also performed by local dance group to entertain the crowd.

H.E. Mr. Kandeepan Balasubramaniam, Srilankan Ambassador to Kuwait was present in the event as a guest and addressed the audience in Tamil. He has expressed his willingness to give his support to the Tamil community in Kuwait in a possible manner.

The Book - “Mutual Funds the Money Multiplier” written by the KTS member Mrs. Lalitha Thamaraipandy was also rereleased and introduced to the KTS members. Earlier KTS committee members honoured the sponsors and the guests with the mementos and shawls. Vote of Thanks was given by Mr. Adhimoorthy, KTS Joint Secretary. Delicious dinner was served for all the members, sponsors and guests. It was a memorable evening for everyone who attended the show.
