FIMA organised Grand Ramadan Iftar in Kuwait

Federation of Indian Muslims Associations (FIMA) in Kuwait hosted a large and traditional Grand Iftar Banquet at Crowne Plaza Hotel on Wednesday, 31st May 2017. The Grand Iftar was attended by a galaxy of prominent personalities from Kuwait. Famous scholar and Chief Editor of Radiance Views Magazine Moulana Ejaz Ahmad Aslam and Mr Sharafuddi n Soofi delivered key note address on the Amazing month of Ramadan. The event was attended by H.E Shri Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, Ambassador of South Africa, Ambassador of Guyana, Diplomatic representative from Embassy of Indonesia and Philippines, Sheikh Dawood Abdul Wahab Alasousi, Asst. Under Secretary, Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Auqaf, Dr Abdullah S Alateeqi, Head of Communication department at Social reform Society, Indian Embassy officials etc are a few who attended the Iftar.

The event started at 5:30 p.m with recitation of the Holy Quran. Hidayathullah Secretary General welcomed distinguished gathering of diplomats, Kuwaiti dignitaries, special invitees and association members

Ambassador of India H.E Shri Sunil Jain, in his speech, appreciated FIMA' activities to community welfare. Prayer facility was arranged after the breaking of fasting. Various supporters were acknowledge by giving memento as a token of appreciation for their support. FIMA President, Syed Ifthekar Ahmed and other FIMA Executive Members coordinated the event. Vice President Br. Harris Aydeed delivered Vote of thanks.
Iftar Banquet and Dinner was served to everyone.
