Monday, May 1, 2017

Although Dubai has many firsts up its sleeve, it found another one in its lap as the IWIK chose Dubai as its first destination outside Kuwait, for taking the ladies on an all-inclusive tour. Geared with the spirit of fun, freedom, and frolic and also with American Tourister-sponsored Backpacks and Travel Accessories. The exuberant ladies met at the Kuwait airport on Wednesday, the 26th of April evening for a three-day and three-night extravaganza.

The well planned tour made their way through the Dubai City Tour. The Day Tour was the visit to the Zabeel Palace (Rulers Residence), Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach, Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah and Gold Souq(Old Dubai),then visit to the Dinasor Park , Glow Garden, Dhow Cruise Dinner, Miracle Garden, Butterfly Garden, wonderful metro ride to the Dubai Mall, visit to the top of Burj Khalifa- 125th Floor, Dubai Mall Aquarium and the Dubai Fountain. At the Dhow Cruise the ladies got an opportunity to do the Tandora Dance on the Cruise. IWIK Core Team and the ladies enjoyed the fun filled Dubai Trip during the long weekend that was from Thursday to Saturday.

The IWIK's core Team comprising Deepika Nambiar, Helen, Reshmy and Navniit took care of the sightseers in every way that they could. In addition to the camaraderie and comfort that was in abundance all throughout, there were gifts which were distributed to the spirited travellers who correctly answered a wide range of questions based on the information given by the Tour Guide, Mr Sajeer Kallachi. He gave an exhaustive commentary on the figures and facts pertaining to the culture, economy, lifestyle and important landmarks of Dubai. The gifts were sponsored by iikbazaar.com.

It was more than a tour, covering landmarks and leading lights. The women felt carefree, relaxed, laughed, enjoyed and loved the moments that this Dubai Darshan brought. A delight it was supposed to be, and a delight it turned out to be.
