Indian Artist Vidya Satish held art exhibition 'Impressions - 2017' in Kuwait

Kuwait based Indian artist Vidya Satish held her maiden Art and Photography Exhibition titled 'Impressions' at Gallery Hall of Dar el Cid, Jabriya Kuwait.

The exhibition, which showcase more than 90 art work of Vidya Satish who creates her works under the alias 'Nethra' was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Mr Sunil Jain.

Through her maiden exhibition, the artist aims at creating an understanding of the magical ecosystem that, humans have inherited. Most of her paintings done on acrylic and oil painting are based on Water and Nature. The paintings try to delve into the roots by appreciating the changing patterns in nature and how they aid in an easy human transition as seasons change.



"I am happy to see the beautiful paintings and more happy to know that she will be donating the returns from this exhibition for the education of needy children in India," said Ambassador Suni Jain after inaugurating the exhibition.

Vidya Satish, an Engineering Graduate working as an IT professional for State Audit Bureau, Kuwait, has passion for the meditative art of painting and loves every moment of self-discovery that it brings. The Self-taught artist exhibited the selected art works created for the past 10 years as her hobby. A passionate photographer, she also exhibited her selected photographs at this exhibition.

With her maiden exhibition, Vidya Satish hopes that her works are a reflection of her own cheerful and charismatic personality and put a smile on the face and a song in the hearts of everyone who sees it.
