Arunachal Pradesh means ‘The land of dawn lit mountains’. As the name describes the place so it is. Belonging to the seven sisters of India, this place suits anyone. Whether you are a person with a dire need of adventure or you just like the peace of nature otherwise you are an animal lover this place is just meant for you. If you give a trip to the Bomdi-La pass you’ll get a taste of Tibetan Culture along with a feeling of patriotism. If you are an adventurous person then Arunachal Pradesh can offer a lot of options like the Sella Pass and Darporijo.

In this article I’m going to describe about the most liked destinations of Arunachal Pradesh and how to make the best of it.

The Sella Pass


Sela pass is the mountain pass which connects Arunachal Pradesh to the rest of India. Sounds cool and so do this place. This place offers an amazing view all the year round. So it’s an anytime welcome place. Its mesmerizing view of snow clad mountains makes it an amazing place. Like try a hand on trekking and hiking, then this place is just meant for you. Even though the climate is usually favorable sometimes things can change. This all season open-to-tourists pass sometimes may get closed because of snowfall. But this doesn’t happen often. So pack up your trekkers and get started to visit this pass which connects Arunachal to the rest of the country.

Namdapha National Park


This is the world’s most lowland rainforests. Animal lovers this is your place. You can get a glance of endangered animals like the red panda, Asiatic small bears and more than 500 different varieties of birds. If you want to get a walk through this natural beauty then give a trek through this scenic lowland Namdapha rainforest. It is also the largest national park in terms of area. It is one of the few national parks of India which you can see by walking on foot. Feel the soil and grass and give a trip to the Namdapha National Park.
Dirang

This place is meant exclusively for the nature lovers. Sit back in the lap of Mother Nature and enjoy the scenic beauty. You can visit the regional Kiwi farm and Apple nursery. Watch out for the Black-necked Siberian crane which comes to breed from Siberia.
