Unskilled Workers

Unskilled workers may not have learnt much
They work a lot their job is such
It’s not right for us to pull them down
While we stay prissy and wear a crown
They are humans just like us
Then why do we make so much fuss
To talk to them or respect them
Our waste they clean, wait for one to employ them
Work to earn bread and support their family with a sum
That may not be enough!
Still they are considered as lower than others
Have no support from their earthly brothers
They don’t have many benefits
Have to work against prejudice
Yet they wear a smile every day
And finish their work in their own little way
Let’s show them mercy and love
Make them believe there’s a God above
Hand in hand we’ll change this world
Let what we can do be unfurled...
