“A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both.” ? François-René de Chateaubriand

The above statement defines how some are serious in their leisure hobbies as like their work or business. Here is a magnanimous personality and an astute Businessman, who is equally serious in pursuing his vision of excellence through whatever he do, being it his job or his hobby.

Today, Asad Khan, as the General Manager of the company, controls a huge team of staff numbering almost six thousand of different nationalities and diverse background. He is also a partner in G5 General Trading & Contracting Co., an important unit of the holding company.

“Hajji was like a father figure to me. He was my mentor – a true philosopher and guide. Being a worldly wise person, street smart person, he taught me a lot and what I am today, I owe it, to a large extent, to him. His wisdom, his innovative ideas, his noble gestures and his way of thinking were all a great source of inspiration to me. He treated me like his own family,” says Mr Asad Khan.

His unique piece in his collection, a Patek Philippe minute repeater was used by then maharajas and bought in an auction. In his 37 years of watch collection, he never come across such a unique master piece time machine, he vouches.

Some of them are limited edition or manufactured exclusively for a single celebrity. Mr Khan has large number of such collections.
