The Commercial Control Department of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry discovered an attempt by an electronic shop in Kuwait to sell an iPhone 15 at an increased price to customers before its official launch.

According to report, the shop was selling iPhone 15 at a value of 900 dinars, taking advantage of people’s desire to acquire it before its official release in the local market, where as its actual price is only 460 dinars.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry warned companies and stores that sell electronic and electrical devices that it will refer to justice anyone who exploits people’s desire to acquire modern communications devices, and raises their prices illegally, taking advantage of the devices not being officially released in the local market, in implementation of article 2 of law No. 10/1979.
