Workers protested as no salary for the past three months

Officers at Salmiya Police Station managed to persuade about 150 workers to end their protest and stay in their homes with a promise to solve their financial problems with the company.

According to Al Anba Arabic newspaper, a large number of workers of a restaurant chain staged a gathering in Salmiya area as they are not receiving their salaries for more than three months as thee restaurants are closed due to lockdown. The workers also said that they don't have any money for their living.

Security officials directed the issue to the Ministry of Social Affairs and also contacted the company to solve the problem.

Usually, by the time problem is solved, people is dead.

Also us we dont receive our salary from march until now...This is pandemic so they should give our salary that is their responsibility
