Winter Wonderland Kuwait will witness its official opening in early winter 2022, Kuwait's Centre for Government Communication said on Friday.

The anticipated project, which will be located at the site of the defunct Shaab Park, will see the light after an agreement for the move was signed by the Tourism Enterprises Company and a global firm specialised in the entertainment industry, the centre said on Twitter.

The planned entertainment venue has received the management and supervision of Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Minister of Finance and State Minister for Economic Affairs and Investment Abdulwahab Al-Rasheed in the aim of delivering recreational projects that benefit the public.
