Ways in which my teacher inspired me …….

Who was/is your favorite teacher? And why?

Your favorite teacher may not have been your favorite because he or she was soft or sweet. There was likely more to it than that.

There might have been a side of her that might have made you uncomfortable. She might have said: “You can do this” when you said: “No, I can’t do it.” She believed in you more than you believed in yourself. So she put some pressure on you. And she got your effort because she asked for it, and you met her demands because she won your trust. Because you realized, “She cares about me enough to push me.” And she pushed you into places you didn’t think you belonged. Great teachers don’t just teach you; they change you.

When you think about what made your teacher so good, you can’t explain it with just tools and techniques or words and emotions; it was also his or her judgment, creativity, and personality that pulled you in and helped create the whole bond you had with your teacher.

The heart of learning is this connection between teachers and students. That is the core of school success: a teacher forming a bond with a student, triggering the student’s hunger to learn, and guiding it in the right way.

Teachers have always played and are still playing an integral role in my life, and I’ve been fortunate to have strong bonds with teachers who believed in me, made demands of me, and lit up my hunger for learning. I would also like to say that if not for my teacher I would not even be writing any of the articles I have written or given any of the speeches I have given until. A teacher is like a candle, he/she burns himself/herself down to brighten up your world.

It was my teacher who made me and many of my friends believe that, ‘every child is gifted. They just unwrap their packages at different times. ‘My teacher was the one who unwrapped my talents.

There used be this time when I used to go around blabbering things boldly but when I was on stage I was like a switched off mic and I used to watch myself being conquered by the quietness . It was my teacher who taught me to conquer the silence that was conquering me a few years ago.

I also used to do tiny-tiny doodles in the corner of my book while the teachers were teaching, for which I used to get scolded by the teachers and end up crying. Among all these there was this particular teacher who gave me a sketch book and asked me to do my doodles in it.

Almost everyone must have had at least one teacher who inspired you in his/her own way. So, this teacher’s day is really important to all of us, especially me. It provides the opportunity to reflect on the teachers and education leaders who have made a unique, indelible impact on our lives. It’s a time to express our gratitude and let teachers know how powerfully they have affected us.

I am here to share a few ways in which my teachers personally inspired me:-

•Dedication-

Teaching is not just a job. Rather, it’s a calling driven by the belief that all students deserve to reach their full potential. That’s why teachers continue to invest their time, energy, love, and resources to do what’s best for each of their students.

•Impact-

The most powerful force in education is the connection between teacher and student. This special bond is what leads to student empowerment and academic success. It is at the heart of learning.

•Belief-

There are several teachers whose lessons you might still carry with you today. These teachers must have been more than just educators—they inspired you to be curious and to think differently about the world around you. They constantly challenged you, because they believed you could rise to the occasion. Their passion for teaching and commitment to your learning shaped the person who you are today.

How many of you who are reading this article are still in contact with your favorite teacher, if you are not don’t regret because the world is wide but what we have learnt is not even a handful. Almost everything in this world is your teacher, from the birds to the earth. All you can do I now remember all the words of your teacher and try your bet to be someone else’s inspiration. One of the teachers who is my inspiration always at home with me. Yes, it is my mom, the teacher who sacrificed her dreams to bring me and my brother up.

Happy teachers day mom!!!!
