Upkar Diwali Celebrations 2019

Upkar Association Kuwait, one of the prominent Association of Indians formed in Kuwait, is planning its Diwali celebrations on October 31st 2019. Upkar Association celebrates a number of festivals and other events where all its members can join in to meet and celebrate together.

Diwali is one of the most prominent festivals of North India as is well known as the festival of lights. The festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil and celebrations include lighting up the homes and getting together with family and friends to share traditional sweets and other delicacies.

This year, the Diwali celebrations are planned to be held in Radisson Blu Hotel, Gulf Road. Though this is primarily a members only event, members may also get their friends and other guests to the event. Upkar has been regularly organizing for its members events and celebrations including Holi, Diwali, Lohri, Sports Day etc. Social events such as Yoga Day and Blood Donation Camp have also been organized. Earlier in 2019, Upkar members have enjoyed event such as Lohri , Holi, a day out at a Kuwait Water Park as well as the recent Dandiya Night.
