Update your Civil ID if address is changed as PACI to delete 5501 cards

The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) announced that the address of around 5,501 people will be removed from the system as the building where the address is given is demolished.

PACI called on all those people to register their new addresses within the 30-day period, starting from Sunday, May 26 or face penalties under Article 33 of Law No. 32 of 1982, which stipulates a fine of up to 100 dinars per person.

If the individual does not respond within 30 days, their civil card will be suspended and canceled from the Kuwait Mobile ID application

Affected individuals must visit PACI headquarters or branches to update their card data by presenting a rental contract, rent receipt, and a statement from the homeowner verifying the data. This process can also be completed via Sahel application, without visiting in person.

This is an old rule. If only the bldg is demolished, otherwise no need.
