Trying to Pass Time During Lockdown

The lockdown experience is different for every person. While some of us are enjoying our time at home, others find it challenging to pass their time. But there is still a long way to go before all these ends, so why not be proactive and make the most of it? The key to keeping boredom away is to do activities that you have been adding to your ‘to-do list’ for years now and which you could not accomplish.

Productivity is about progress - it's about breaking our long-term goals down into daily activities so that we can grow and develop. Instead of barreling over thinking of what to do; start by setting regular daily or weekly goals that you can prioritize, what’s important without feeling overwhelmed, or overstretched. Depending on what you're looking to accomplish, there's a range of goal-planning journals and notebooks covering everything from cleaning, exercise, and diet to business and life goals. Remember all those times you say that you'd learn Italian, Spanish or French but just couldn't find enough time for anything? Well here's your chance. Another thing you can do while at home is by doing nail art. With the coronavirus pandemic, most of the beauty salons across the world has closed down, in this period we all can get creative and learn how to give oneself a home manicure. Activities like organizing your wardrobe will be something most of us haven't done for a while. So while doing so we might come across at least one dress that we know we'll never wear again or a pair of jeans that just don't fit the way they used to. It's time to declutter your wardrobe and get rid of those sad pieces that no longer need. Either pass them onto friends and family, donate them to charity or at the very least, find your nearest clothing bank and recycle. Connecting with your long-lost friends will be something that can cheer anyone at any point.

We all have the same 24 hours but only some know how to properly spend their leisure time. Spend your time doing little activities with your family, like playing board games or preparing a home-cooked meal or by simply making a conversation. It is refreshing and much needed at this point. Why not start now?
