Tips for Kids Summer Fashion

Summer is approaching and so is the summer vacation. We all eagerly wait for this vacation as most of us visit our homeland India during this time. Summer vacation is long here in Kuwait. Kids get 2.5-3 months of holidays. While few travel the day school close and return one or two day before it reopens. Others may not have that liberty as both parents are working. But there is not to worry much as be in India or Kuwait , as there are lot of summer camps or activity classes to make the kids have fun learning experience and a memorable summer vacation making new friends, skill building and much more.

But the question is how to dress up your kids for the summer? We literally feel like the earth is on fire. The scorching heat is not the only problem. The problem is kids need to go out, play, travel to those camps, attend camps and live like everything is favourable to them. Beating the summer is not an easy task. You have to make some extra efforts to do that.

The first thing you should begin with is their clothes. The kind of fabric they wear has a lot of effect on the body temperature. You can seriously feel cooler if you pick up the right fabric. Cotton is the most common fabric in especially during summer. And the fact that it is extremely effective in keeping the body cool makes it a more lucrative choice. This light weight fabric successfully absorbs moisture and protects us from heat. It is also cheaper than other materials out there in the market. Also, it is really easy to take care of cotton fabric. It is durable and easily washable.

To make them look fashionable and cool you can buy some tie-dye dress for them. Also you can encourage your kids to find clothes that match the temperature and get creative! That means no hoodies or pajama pants for the summer – go for lightweight shirts and shorts to keep their bodies cooler. You can get creative with the colors and maybe even tie-dye and decorate some t-shirts of their own with fabric paint. Remember, dark colours will absorb more heat (and you’ll feel hotter), so try light colours for outdoor outfits. It will keep them busy and the end result will make them super happy and proud as they will be wearing t-shirts designed by them.

Now-a-days we get lot of stuff to make friendship bands. Encourage your kids to make them, wear them and make few for their school and camp friends. There can be nothing better summer gift then these.

Remember sunglasses are a must. Not that there's anything wrong with basic black; but try to buy some candy coloured sunnies for them. It's just that these are so much more fun and they'll make any outfit more fun and trendy by association.

Top off their look with a colorful hat. Baseball caps are never out of style and bucket hats might have seemed a little nerdy back in the day, but they're actually cool now, especially in a bold print or color or both.

Last not the least , a bright backpack or cool a fanny pack for them and a bottle of water where ever they go.

Keep your kids fashionable, cool and hydrated this summer. Happy Summer and Happy Vacation.
