Thrissur Association of Kuwait celebrated 78th Independence Day

Thrissur Association of Kuwait (TRASSK) celebrated 78th Independence Day of India on Thursday, August 15, 2024. In a function held at Abbasia United Indian School, TRASSK President Biju Kadavi delivered Independence Day message.

TRASSK Joint Secretary and Sports Committee Convener Jill Chinnan welcomed the audience and Social Welfare Committee Convener and Joint Secretary Siju M L gave a condolence message. Association General Secretary Mukesh Gopalan, Treasurer Tritish Kumar, Vanitavedi General Convenor Jesni Shamir, Arts Joint Convenor Rafi Erinjeri, Vice President Jagadambaran and 'Kalikkalam' Convener Anagha Rajan gave felicitation speeches.

Members of the association paid tribute to those who died in the Wayanad landslides by lighting LED candles. The members also organised various cultural activities including 'Freedom Fighters Fancy Dress' competition, patriotic songs, and quiz.

Medals and prizes were given to the participants and sweets were distributed during the event.

During the event, TRASSK also released the Coupon for TRASSK Ponnonam 2K24, which will be held on September 27. TRASSK Joint Treasurer and Media Convenor, Vishnu Karingath, proposed vote of thanks.
