Things will be in control within two month if we all cooperate, says Health Minister

Things will be under control within two months if all citizens and residents adhere to health guidelines and precautionary measures, said Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah.

Minister stressed that the gradual return to normalcy of life will not be achieved unless everyone joins hands and helps the government achieve the desired goal, assuring that the "general health situation in the country is much better than others."

"Despite its difficulty, everyone must adhere to the regulations for the interest of the public to contain the infection. Gradual easing of the current procedures will come and life may return to normalcy step by step if we all follow the regulations and the rate of infection stabilizes, but if the prevalence rate increases, then the return to normal life will be delayed. We do not rule out complete curfew in order to ensure that the spread of the epidemic among people is controlled", Minister said.

We should appreciate the government ministries for taking preventive actions as of now but area wise, construction sites, workers accommodations and the other more density areas to be focus on implementing the full curfew over a period...then only It will control otherwise...

How will full lockdown work - our compatriots will still have to go to the restaurants to cook food for take away, we will still go to provide service to this country and so it should be. What happens when people go back to their apartments, 4 in one room, 12 in one apartment. Is it their fault they are packed like that - or will the companies do something to ease this pressure? Can anywone answers to this problems please?
Thanks you

Complete lock down for 15 days is the final solution. Having said this, the authority must allow doctors and nurses who are treating the patients to be staying separately because there is chances they can be affected and than its a problem. Many cases worldwide the doctors and nurses have been affected by the Covid-19

It can be achieved only when complete lockdown is implemented.
More than thousands of people gathering at same time in refinery gates every morning. Unless lockdown, we can''t control this. Govt has to take necessary steps on this.

It can be achieved In sha allah, we can over come this situation. But complete lock down has to be implemented through out the country, only essential services to be allowed. on one hand Kuwait Govt doing very well and asking people to stay at home and avoid unnecessary gathering, but on other hand Kuwait private organisation calling their people to work.... and risking their and their families lifes, than how can be it achieved..? Govt has to take immediate steps towards this, an early step is good..than being late.
