The cold season in Kuwait will continue until the end of March or the beginning of April, Astronomer Adel Al-Marzouq said.

"The cold is not over yet and continues until the end of March or the beginning of April. The severe cold wave that hit the region has ended, however the cold season will continue in the coming days until the end of March," he said.

From yesterday, January 24, the "Al-Azraq" started and will last for 8 days, and from February 10, extreme cold will again start for nine days. After that the cold will subsides for another nine days. In the month of March, cold will again persist for almost three week. On March 21, the spring season begins, he said.
