Teenagers and brand loyalty

Kids have got different likings at different stages of life , and one of the most important and turning point of life is becoming a teen like many of us . At this age , we teens feel insecure and we are not able to take right decisions . We are dipped in a sea of confusion . Especially in these modern times of fashion, most of us teen agers focus our attention on the type of clothes we should wear – their color, their design and of course the brand name. The influence of our friends or even matinee idols is much on us the teen agers and affects our minds so much that we sometimes pester our parents to buy top quality branded clothes even though the prices are prohibitively expensive. The complexity of the person, which is more than often not, the inferiority complex makes the us the teens do such rash acts.

The cloth manufactures cashing in on such weaknesses target the teens ,by advertising attractive ads .They also introduce a lot of offers like 20% off, , 30% off . No doubt branded items have some advantages. They are durable, the quality is rich and one might feel comfortable. One of the main benefits of branded clothing is that all clothing is available in almost all sizes and is suitable for men, women or children in a wide variety of different colors. But if the house budget is a tight one, then we teens should be more cautious and instead of pestering their parents to buy expensive clothes we should support our parents by asking for cheaper variety of clothes.

The main disadvantage is that they are expensive. Secondly the brand of today becomes obsolete tomorrow and the chase for branded clothing is on again. Hence there is no end to the buying spree of these branded clothes once we let the fashion take over our senses. One of the main problems with many branded businesses is that they lose their personal image. The ability to deal on a personal basis with customers is one of the biggest advantages small business have, and poorly designed branding could give customers the impression that your business is losing its personal touch.

So we see that branded dresses have both advantages and disadvantages. We the teens should not squander our parents’ hard earned money.

We can avoid this fashion complexity with our own ability of thinking. Ideas that can assist us in sound judgment are:

We should very well understand the financial condition of the house and accordingly behave. Surely our parents will love to buy expensive clothes for us but they know when to do that for example on our birthdays or sometimes even on their wedding anniversary! In fact they may buy cheaper clothes for themselves and gift us with expensive ones- our beloved parents.

We teens should form our own personal opinion on all matters related to dress and not be influenced by our friends or celebrities. We should remember that not all conditions of all our teenage friends are the same. Each have their set of problems and so we cannot compare each other.

We need to concentrate in studies.

So , teens need to think twice before they make a right and proper decision .Take adjudications wisely.

Think which is important first, then go ahead.
